Zweischneidige Klinge mit beidseitiger flacher Kehlung, die Spitze defekt. Zur Klinge geneigte eiserne Parierstange mit flach auslaufenden Armen. Die Enden korrosionsbedingt unvollständig. Kräftige, leicht konische Angel. Zum Vernietknauf hin spitz auslaufender, runder Scheibenknauf aus Bronze mit schöner Alterspatina. Länge 84 cm.
Der Überlieferung nach ein Wasserfund aus der Seine.

A French medieval sword with brass pommel, circa 1350
Double-edged blade with shallow fullers on both sides, the point broken. The quillons angled toward the blade, the arms extending evenly. The ends fragmented due to corrosion. Sturdy, slightly tapered tang. The circular disc pommel in bronze with a beautiful age patina, tapering to a point at the riveted button. Length 84 cm.
By all accounts, an underwater find in the Seine.
