l'orologio presenta Cerere seduta sulla base a gradini, l'orologio appoggiato sul suo ginocchio, e un putto alla sua destra. Il quadrante circolare smaltato è stato reintegrato, ha numeri romani ed è firmato LESPINESSE, A PARIGI, gli angoli dell'obelisco sono decorati con maschere di leone che fiancheggiano un cammeo ovale che rappresenta una figura che guida una biga, nella cui parte superiore vi è un piatto contenente sementi drappeggiato con fiori e bacche. I lati e la parte posteriore presentano diversi trofei musicali, con un altro trofeo in alto e decorazioni di nuvole stilizzate, sormontati da una parte finale scanalata, il barometro presenta Nettuno e Cupido seduti alla base che sorreggono anch’essi il quadrante oggetto di una reintegrazione, gli angoli decorati con teste di delfino, la colonnina di mercurio fuoriesce da un cesto di frutta, i lati e il retro sono ornati con trofei che rappresentano le quattro stagioni, un elemento delle nuvole del barometro è mancante

the clock with Ceres seated at the stepped base, the clock resting on her knee, with a putto to the right, the replaced circular enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed LESPINESSE, A PARIS, the angles of the obelisk mounted with lion's masks flanking an oval cameo of a figure driving a chariot, with a seed pan above draped with flowers and berries, the sides and back conformingly mounted with different musical trophies, with a further trophy above and stylised cloud mounts, surmounted by a spreading fluted finial; the barometer conformingly mounted with Neptune and Cupid seated at the base supporting the replaced enamel dial, the corners mounted with dolphins, the mercury tube issuing from a basket of fruit, the sides and back mounted with trophies representing the four seasons, one element lacking to the clouds of the barometer
