dark-green jade, partly translucent, with dark brown inclusions and bright Calcifications of the surface. Half-ball-shaped, quite thin-walled crafted tray with side handles in Form of lions ' heads with tendrils and a loose Ring. The high and heavy foot separately part manufactured with a pierced Central with four lifting eyes with lots of rings. Of the likewise thin-walled crafted cover arched high, with a separately carved pommel in the shape of a dragon with four Eyelets, with lots of rings. The wall of the lid pierced with foliage, and four medallions with the four-footed animals: horse, Gazelle, Quilin, and another mythological animal.

Characteristic for this type of large incense burners from the jadeite of the 19th century. Century. the from Chinese iconography-cited motives are. The Calcifications give the piece an antique feel. Height 42.5 cm. Condition A/B.
