Der Hammerflügel wurde von Johann Georg Klein (1771-1814) in Ockstadt gebaut. Das Instrument wurde 1996/97 für die Sammlung Ewerhart erworben. Die Rückwand des Flügels (linke Seite) ist nicht furniert, sondern geschwärzt. Drei Kniehebel bedienen die Mutationen: Moderator, Dämpfungsaufhebung und Fagott. Die Anlage einer vierten Mutation ist im Inneren des Instruments erkennbar, diese ist jedoch nicht mehr vorhanden.
Die Klaviatur (FF-4c4) hat ein Stichmaß von 45,3cm. Das Instrument besitzt eine Wiener Mechanik sowie eine Stiefeldämpfung. Die Fängerleiste ist derzeit nicht vorhanden. Die Hämmerchen sind beledert. Der Flügel hat einen einteiligen Steg. Die Besaitung ist zwischen FF-e2 zweichörig; f2-c4 dreichörig.

This German fortepiano was built by Johann Georg Klein (1771-1814) in Ockstadt. The back of the piano (LHS) is not veneered but blackened. Three knee levers operate the mutations: Moderator, damper lift and bassoon. The installation of a fourth mutation can be seen inside the instrument, but it is no longer present.
The keyboard (FF-4c4) has a 3-octave-span of 45.3 cm. The instrument has a Viennese action as well as a Viennese damping. There are no checks present at the moment. The hammers are covered with leather. The piano has a continuous bridge. The stringing is double strung within FF-e2 and triple strung within f2-c4.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
