Das Tafelklavier mit der Seriennummer 652 wurde 1787 von Johannes Broadwood (1732-1812) in London hergestellt. Das Instrument ist in Mahagoni gefertigt und ruht auf einem sogenannten „trestle stand“. Aufgrund der Ausstattung ist es als „Standard Model“ identifizierbar.
Auf dem Resonanzboden hat sich möglicherweise einer der Besitzer verewigt:

Das Instrument besitzt eine englische single-action Mechanik, sowie eine Einzeltondämpfung aus Messing (sogenannte Peacock-dampers).
Die Klaviatur (FF-f3) hat ein Stichmaß von 48,7cm. Die Hämmerchen sind beledert.

The squarepioano with the serial number 652 was made in London in 1787 by Johannes Broadwood (1732-1812). The instrument is made of mahogany and rests on a so-called "trestle stand". Due to its characteristics, it can be identified as a "Standard Model".

The instrument has an English single-action action, as well as a brass single-note damping system (so-called peacock-dampers).
The keyboard (FF-f3) has a 3-octave-span of 48.7cm. The hammers are covered with leather.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
