Ritterkreuz aus der mittleren Fertigungsserie des Herstellers C. E. Juncker, Berlin, ab März 1941. Der schwarz lackierte eiserne Kern in Silberzarge mit den typischen Prägemerkmalen und rückseitiger Feingehaltspunze "800" am mittigen oberen Rand. Der Sprungring mit Enden und Feingehaltspunze "800". Maße 54,6 x 48.6 mm, Gewicht 34,1 g. Dazu ein neuzeitlicher Bandabschnitt.
Captain Winfried Schmidt – a personal Knight's Cross to the Iron Cross
Knight’s Cross from the intermediate production series of the manufacturer C. E. Juncker, Berlin, from March 1941 onwards. The iron centre lacquered in black in a silver frame with the characteristic embossing features and on the reverse with mark of fineness "800" on the central upper edge. The suspension ring with finials and mark of fineness "800". Dimensions 54.6 x 48.6 mm, weight 34.1 g. Comes with a modern ribbon section.
