A good copy on strong paper of the first original and bilingual edition of this great work by the Dutch philologist and numismatist Sigebert Havercamp on the precious coin collection of Queen Christina of Sweden. The collection, which includes some coins obtained by the Swedes in Prague at the end of the Thirty Years War in 1648, was acquired by the Vatican in 1794 after the abdication of the Queen and her relocation to Rome.
Folio (404 x 258mm). Title in French and Latin printed in red and black with engraved vignette, 63 engraved plates, engraved headpieces, woodcut initials (remains of stamp on title and tiny hole in the margin, occasional light foxing or browning). Contemporary calf, spine decorated in gilt, red edges and marbled endpapers (extremities lightly rubbed); preserved in a modern marbled paper box. Provenance: Imperial Library of the Hermitage (bookplate) - bookplate in Russian - Finarte, Milan (label dated 03/26/71).

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
