Glocke aus schwarz lackiertem Eisenblech, vergoldete Buntmetallbeschläge. Eingefasster Vorderschirm und kurzer Nackenschirm. Hoher, reich reliefierter Kamm (fixiert durch Rundkopfsplinte), beidseitig mit getriebenem Löwen- und Schlangenmotiv auf fein gekörntem Grund, Perlstab- und Lorbeerfries, originale schwarz-gelbe Wollraupe. Stirnseitig am Kamm der bekrönte Doppeladler unter zwei gekreuzten Lorbeerzweigen. Darunter ein versplintetes Stirnschild, im Zentrum die aufgelegte Herrscherchiffre "F. I." (Kaiser Ferdinand I. von Österreich, 1835 - 1848), umrandet von Palmettenfries. Hiebspangen (Seitengabeln) seitlich an der Glocke. Mehrteilige, lederunterfütterte Schuppenketten (ungewöhnliches Schuppenmuster) an fein reliefierten Löwenköpfen. Schwarzes Lederlaschenfutter mit goldgeprägter Bordüre. Dazu die Kürassbrust aus schwarz lackiertem Eisenblech mit vergoldeten Messingbeschlägen, an den Rändern Messingbänder mit Rundkopfsplinten, messingbeschlagener Mittelgrat in ungewöhnlicher Form, zwei fest montierte Schulterbänder mit herzförmigen Durchbrüchen und rötlichem Samtfutter, verzinnte Innenseite des Kürasses, Futter und hinterer Teil der Tragebänder nicht vorhanden. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren.
Extrem seltener, früher Helm in schöner Erhaltung, hier sogar mit der oft fehlenden Wollraupe.

The skull made of black lacquered sheet metal with gilt fittings in non-ferrous metal. Edged front visor and short neck guard. The high comb lavishly decorated in relief and fixed with a round-headed pin, chased on both sides with a lion and serpent in mortal combat on a finely grained background. Bead and reel ornaments, laurel frieze, original black and yellow wool crest. The crowned, double-headed eagle below two crossed laurel branches on the front of the comb. Below which a front plate fixed with pins, the sovereign's cipher "F. I." (Kaiser Ferdinand I of Austria, 1835 - 1848) appliquéd in the centre with a palmette frieze border. Protective bars (side forks) on the side of the skull. The chinscales made of several pieces (unusual scale pattern) with leather underlay, on finely raised lion's heads. The black leather liner with a gold-embossed border. Also includes the breastplate in black lacquered sheet metal with gilt brass fittings, brass bands fixed along the edges with round-headed pins, unusually shaped brass-plated medial ridge. Two screw-mounted shoulder straps with heart-shaped perforations and reddish velvet lining. The inner surface of the breastplate tinned, the lining and rear section of the carrying straps have been lost. Slightly damaged in places, signs of wear and age.
Extremely rare, early helmet in beautiful condition, even including the wool crest that is often missing.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
