Disparue tragiquement en 2015, Hema Upadhyay était une artiste indienne basée à Mumbai qui puisait dans son environnement et son histoire personnelle pour interroger les notions d'identité à l’épreuve des migrations, tout en soulevant des questions sociales et économiques. Sa maîtrise de diverses techniques artistiques a été révélée par les Beaux-Arts de Paris en 2005 puis à la Serpentine Gallery de Londres à l’hiver 2008; elle a été suivie d’expositions à Oslo et Herning qui lui ont assuré sa renommée européenne. En 2011, elle fait partie de l'exposition Paris-Delhi-Bombay organisée par le Centre Pompidou. Son œuvre a également été exposé au Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (Pékin), au Macro (Rome), au Chicago Cultural Center ou encore au Mori Art Museum et à la Japan Foundation (Tokyo). Upadhyay est l’une des incarnations féminines les plus significatives de l'activisme dans l'art contemporain indien.
Tragically departed in 2015, Hema Upadhyay was a Mumbai-based Indian artist who drew on her environment and personal history to interrogate notions of identity in the face of migration, while raising social and economic issues. Her mastery of various artistic techniques was revealed by the Beaux-Arts of Paris in 2005 and then at the Serpentine Gallery in London during the winter of 2008, followed by exhibitions in Oslo and Herning which ensured her European reputation. In 2011, she was included in the Paris-Delhi-Bombay exhibition organised by the Centre Pompidou and has also been exhibited at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (Beijing), the Macro (Rome), the Chicago Cultural Center, the Mori Art Museum and the Japan Foundation (Tokyo). Upadhyay is one of the most significant female incarnations of activism in contemporary Indian art.

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
