Das vorliegende, trapezförmige, farblich gefasste Instrument, wurde zusätzlich reich mit bunten Chinoiserien in Form von Vögeln und Ranken versehen. Beim Öffnen des Deckels sind auf dem Notenpult ockerfarbene Chinoiserien in Form von Phantasievögeln und Gewächsen auf rotem Grund zu erkennen. Die historischen Springer sind gänzlich ohne Dämpfung.
Das Instrument wurde restauriert und ist spielbar. Die Stimmwirbel erscheinen teils original, sind aber angebohrt. Die Restaurierung der Farbfassung wurde im Frühjahr 2000 von Edgar Jetter durchgeführt.
Die Klaviatur (C-c3 [C, D, E, F, G, A-c3 als kurze Oktav]) ist womöglich mit Buchs (Untertasten) und Ebenholz (Obertasten) belegt und hat ein Stichmaß von 44,8cm. Aktuell ist das Instrument mit Delrin bekielt.
Die c1-Länge (klingend c2) beträgt 306mm, die f1-Länge (klingend f2) beträgt 232mm.
Die c2-Länge (klingend c3) beträgt 150mm, die f2-Länge (klingend f3) beträgt 119mm.

ITALIAN UNSIGNED OTTAVINO, OCTAVSPINET POSSBLY VENICE CIRCA 1700
The present trapezoidal, colour-framed instrument was additionally richly decorated with colourful chinoiseries in the form of birds and vines. When opening the lid, ochre-coloured chinoiserie in the form of fancy birds and plants on a red background can be seen on the music stand. The original jacks do not have any dampers.
The instrument has been restored and is in playing condition. The tuning pins appear to be (at least) partly original but are drilled. The restoration of the painting was carried out by Edgar Jetter in spring 2000.
The keyboard (C-c3 [C, D, E, F, G, A-c3 as short octave]) has a 3-octave-span of 44.8 cm. The instrument is equipped with Delrin.
The c1-scale (speaking c2) is 306mm, the f1-scale (speaking f2) is 232mm.
The c2-scale (speaking c3) is 150mm, the f2-scale (speaking f3) is 119mm.
