With 89 plates by Nicolas Henry Jacobs which is probably the largest and most in depth treatise on the subject of the 19th-century. Folio (432 x 314mm). Title engraved in sepia within architecture border, numerous engraved plates by Nicolas Henri Jacobs: 4 in the preliminaries, 70 illustrating monkeys and makis of the old and new world divided in 5 classes, 15 showing makis, engraved text within architectural borders (some spotting, a repaired marginal tear). Contemporary half morocco, spine decorated in gilt, marbled paper plates (lightly rubbed). Provenance: Duca di Cardinale (stamp on title).

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
