Gouache und Aquarell auf Elfenbein. Unten rechts signiert und datiert "Isabey 1816". Unter gewölbtem Glas, in originalem prunkvollen Rahmen aus vergoldeter Bronze. Rückseitig eingravierte Inschrift "par Isabey 1816". Maße der Miniatur ca. 7,7 x 5,9 cm. Rahmenmaße ca. 15,2 x 12,7 cm. Sehr fein gemalte Miniatur, guter Zustand ohne Beschädigungen. Vgl. Ein fast identisches Portrait von Jean-Baptiste Isabey in ähnlichem Rahmen wurde in Paris vom Auktionshaus Beaussant Lefèvre Sarl am 29.09.2017 verkauft (Zuschlagspreis: 35.000 €).
Napoléon François Joseph Charles Prince de Parme (1811 - 1832) war der einzige legitime männliche Nachkomme Napoleon Bonapartes. Er stammte aus dessen zweiter Ehe mit Marie-Louise von Österreich. Als kaiserlicher Kronprinz von Frankreich trug er seit 1811 den Titel König von Rom. Nach dem Sturz von Napoleon führte er den Titel Prinz von Parma.
Jean-Baptiste Isabey (1767 - 1855): bekannter französischer Miniaturmaler, Hofmaler von Napoleon, den er oft auf Feldzügen begleitete. Unter der Schirmherrschaft von Josephine und Napoleon Bonaparte arrangierte er die Zeremonien ihrer Krönung und fertigte Zeichnungen für die Publikation an, die als offizielles Gedenken gedacht war.

Gouache and water colour on ivory. Signed and dated "Isabey 1816" at the bottom right. Under domed glass, in the original, ostentatious frame of gilt bronze. The inscription "par Isabey 1816" engraved on the back. Dimensions of the portrait approx. 7.7 x 5.9 cm. Size of the frame approx. 15.2 x 12.7 cm. Exquisitely painted miniature, in good condition, no damage. An almost identical portrait by Jean-Baptiste Isabey in a similar frame was sold at auction by Beaussant Lefèvre Sarl in Paris on 29 September 2017 (hammer price: 35,000 euros).
Napoléon François Joseph Charles Prince de Parme (1811 - 1832) was the only legitimate male descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte. He was his son from his second marriage to Marie-Louise of Austria. As the Prince Imperial of France, he bore the title King of Rome from 1811. After the fall of Napoleon, he held the title of Prince of Parma.
Jean-Baptiste Isabey (1767 - 1855), a famous French miniature painter, was court painter to Napoleon, often accompanying him on campaigns. Under the patronage of Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte, he arranged their coronation ceremonies and prepared drawings for the publication designed as the official commemoration.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
