A group of eleven volumes, comprising:

WODEHOUSE, P. G. (1881-1975). Stiff Upper Lip Jeeves. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1963.  
First edition. McIlvaine A86. Octavo. (Somewhat browned.) Original grey cloth-backed boards, spine lettered in gilt and blue, yellow endpapers, top edge stained yellow; original dust-jacket with designs by Paul Bacon (light soiling, three tiny tears).

— The Code of the Woosters. London: Herbert Jenkins, 1938. 
First English edition. McIlvaine A60(b). Octavo. Four leaves of publisher’s ads at end. Original green cloth, spine and upper cover stamped in black; original dust-jacket with illustration by Fenwick (extremities somewhat rubbed and nicked, short split to one fold, small chip to foot of spine touching a few letters, single tap repair to verso). Provenance: Basil Drennen? (Inscription to inside cover, dated February 13th, 1940).

First edition. McIlvaine B1(a). Octavo. Photographic frontispiece of author (very occasional light spotting, heaviest to half-title). Original green cloth, spine and upper cover with decoration and titles in black, lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in black (extremities lightly rubbed); original dust-jacket with illustrations by Abbey (several closed tears repaired with tape on verso, some small chips, spine faded and panels lightly soiled). Provenance: contemporary gift inscription (black ink front free endpaper) — Dairy Cottage, Crowcombe (embossed library stamp) — Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

Original red leather, title and decoration to upper cover in gilt (extremities slightly rubbed,); original pictorial dust-jacket (lightly marked, a few small chips with one just into illustration). Provenance: Allan’s (bookseller’s ticket to front pastedown) — (gift inscription to front free endpaper dated 1937 ‘from Barbara’).

— Bertie Wooster Sees it Through. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1955.  
First American edition. McIlvaine A77(b). Octavo. Original cream cloth-backed blue boards, upper cover and spine with titles stamped in brown, spine with brown label decorated and lettered in gilt (top edge marginally sunned); original dust-jacket with design by Dick Dodge (spine and upper edge lightly tanned, light wear to spine ends).

Original orange cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in black, lower cover and spine with publisher’s device stamped in black (faintest wear to spine ends); original price-clipped dust-jacket with illustration by Frank Ford (backstrip sunned, lightly rubbed and creased and with smalls chips including one into image on lower panel, lower panel faintly soiled, some closed tears with tape repairs to verso).

Original red boards, spine lettered in black, lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in black (spine ends lightly rubbed); original price-clipped dust-jacket with designs by Sax (lightly soiled, several chips, creases, and closed tears, most heavily affecting head and foot of backstrip, several repairs with letter ‘E’ of upper cover title partially in manuscript). Provenance: F. H. Light, The Cornhill Library, Bridgwater (label to front pastedown) — Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

Original burnt-orange cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in black (lightly rubbed); original pictorial dust-jacket (somewhat rubbed and soiled, two closed tears to lower panel, small nicks and creases). Provenance: ownership inscription to front free endpaper.

Original blue cloth, title to spine stamped in white (edges a touch faded, head- and tailcap lightly bruised); original dust-jacket designed by Michael Harvey (spine and top edge lightly tanned, a couple of light creases). Provenance: ownership inscription (front free endpaper) -- Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).
