WODEHOUSE, P. G. (1881-1975). The Man with Two Left Feet. London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1917.  
First edition. McIlvaine A21(a).  Octavo. 16 leaf insert of publisher’s ads at end (spotting throughout, ads browned and with a few marginal tears). Original red cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in black (lacking dust-jacket, slightly cocked, extremities rubbed, some staining, spine tanned). Provenance: Christopher Pulling (bookplate; gift inscription to half-title).

— Carry On, Jeeves! New York: George H. Doran, 1925.  
First American edition. McIlvaine A34(b). Octavo. Original brown boards, spine and upper cover with title and decoration stamped in orange (light wear to edges, light browning to endpapers); original dust-jacket with illustrations by M.F. (folds and lower panel very lightly rubbed and soiled). Provenance: James H. Heineman (biographer to author; bookplate) —Frits Menschaar (no evidence of provenance).

First edition, sixth printing. McIlvaine A30.6. Octavo. (Textblock splitting in places, a few faint marginal marks.) Original green cloth, upper cover lettered and with illustration, lower cover with publisher’s device, spine with title and publisher’s device, all stamped in black, green cloth portfolio affixed to lower cover, dos-à-dos style, containing the upper panel from the original dust-jackets of 18 Wodehouse titles (lacking the dust-jacket, extremities rubbed, some staining, spine faded and joint fraying).

First edition. McIlvaine A77(a). Octavo. One integral leaf of publisher’s ads and list of author’s books at end. Original red cloth, spine lettered in black; original price-clipped pictorial dust-jacket (light edge wear). Provenance: Fritz Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

Original red boards, spine lettered in gilt, lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in blind (top edge faded, edges lightly spotted); original pictorial dust-jacket, bookseller’s label on front pastedown (edges lightly rubbed, one small nick to front panel and a few short closed tears repaired with tape on verso).
