1903. Farblithographie. 65,5 x 54,5 cm. Ungerahmt. R. u. mit Bleistift sign. J. Bossard, am unteren Rand gewidmet. Unauffällig knittrig. - Maler, Bildhauer und Illustrator. B. studierte ab 1894 an der Kunstgewerbeschule und an der Akademie in München. 1896 siedelte er nach Berlin über, wo er Meisterschüler von A. Kampf an der Akademie wurde. Zunächst befasste er sich mit der Bildhauerei, später auch mit Lithographie und Radierung. Ab 1908 war er Dozent an der Kunstgewerbeschule Hamburg. Sein Hauptwerk ist die über Jahrzehnte aufgebaute und als Gesamtkunstwerk ausgeschmückte 'Kunststätte Bossard' in Jesteburg. Mus.: Bern, Danzig. Lit.: Vollmer, Thieme-Becker, Der Neue Rump u.a.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
