Stillleben mit Karnevalsutensilien
Blick auf einen weißen Tisch mit Maske, Tröten, Narrenpritsche, Ziehharmonika und Hut, welche sich durch ihre leuchtende Farbigkeit von dem umgebenden Raum absetzen. Das für Müllers Oeuvre der 1950er Jahre repräsentative Stillleben verbindet mit seiner betonten Flächigkeit zugleich Stilelemente des Kubismus und der Neuen Sachlickeit. Bereits 1955 hatte Müller in seinem bekannten Gemälde "Drei Masken" ein Karnevalsmotiv geschildert. Der von den Nationalsozialisten verfemte junge Künstler war ab 1950 in Koblenz ansässig, wo er sich verstärkt der Malerei zuwandte. Müllers Oeuvre ist durch einen Stilpluralismus gekennzeichnet, wobei er die realen Bildelemente wie in diesem Gemälde oft bewusst derartig verfremdete, dass sie nur noch als Chiffren einer Wirklichkeit erkennbar bleiben. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
