Porcelain, painted and gilt. Egyptianesque. "FR" with crown. Height 23 cm.

Porzellankanne in Form einer ägyptischen Kanope aus dem sog. St. Petersburger Service. Wandung mit goldenem und weißen Fond und Pseudo-Hieroglyphen, bronzefarbenes Gesicht, Dekolleté und Hände, Doppelschlangenhenkel, gold glasierter Deckel mit bronzener Blütenbekrönung. Auf der Vorderseite in einer gerahmten Kartusche das polychrome Portrait Friedrich von Württembergs.

In der Sammlung der Stiftung Preusssische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg befindet sich ein Déjeuner (Frühstücksservice) des Prinzen Paul, Ludwigsburg 1813, mit Portraitbildnissen von König Friedrich I. und der Königin Charlotte Mathilde von Württemberg auf den Kannen (Inv.Nr.1945-246, 253, 1929-802). Ein weiteres Déjeuner des Prinzen Paul von 1813 hat sich im Landesmuseum Stuttgart erhalten, auch dieses mit den Mitgliedern der königlichen Familie: Auf der Kaffeekanne Friedrich I., auf der Milchkanne Königin Mathilde, auf der Zuckerdose Prinz Paul, auf den Tassen Königin Katharina von Westphalen, Thronfolger Prinz Wilhelm und die Gemahlin Pauls, Prinzessin Charlotte sowie auf der Servierplatte deren vier Kinder August, Charlotte, Pauline und Friedrich (Kat. Im Glanz der Zaren. Die Romanows, Württemberg und Europa, Hrsg. Landesmuseum Württemberg (Hrsg.) 2013, S.222, Kat.Nr.407 mit Abb.).

Die Gefäßformen wurden von der Manufaktur Wien übernommen. Sie spiegeln die in Frankreich nach dem Ägyptenfeldzug Napoleons (1798-1801) aufgekommene Ägyptenmode wieder. Es handelt sich um Ludwigsburger Porzellan aus der Zeit von König Friedrich, dem Bruder der Frau von Paul I. von Russland, Maria Feodorowna, daher die Namensgebung St. Petersburger Porzellan.

Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
