Schwere, einteilig geschlagene Glocke mit gerundetem Mittelgrat, der obere Rand leicht ausgestellt, umgebördelte Krempe mit umlaufenden Futternieten. Innen Belederung aus sämisch gegerbtem Leder. Stellenweise leicht narbig, an einer Stelle am Übergang der Glocke zur Krempe mit Delaminierungen. Maße 21 (Höhe) x 37,5 (Länge) x 33,7 cm (Breite).
Ähnliche Helme wie das hier vorliegende Exemplar befinden sich in bekannten Sammlungen, so wird ein ähnliches im Alten Zeughaus in Solothurn aufbewahrt. Vgl. Vital, Das Alte Zeughaus Solothurn, 1980, S. 132.

The heavy skull forged in one piece with a rounded medial ridge, the upper edge flaring slightly, the brim turned under with a row of lining rivets. The leather lining made of chamois-dressed leather. Lightly pitted here and there, delamination in one place where the skull joins the brim. Dimensions 21 (height) x 37.5 (length) x 33.7 cm (width).
Similar helmets to this example can be found in renowned collections, one such is in the holdings of the Museum Altes Zeughaus in Solothurn. See Vital, Das Alte Zeughaus Solothurn, 1980, p. 132.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
