Bronze mit kräftiger grünlicher Alterspatina. Leicht gewölbte Standplatte auf drei stilisierten Löwenfüßen. Kurzer Schaft mit Mittelnodus. Tropfschale mit erhabenem Rand, zentraler Bronzedorn, die Spitze fehlt. Höhe 7,5 cm.
Nach Einliefererangaben bei Aushubarbeiten in der Stadt Gent in Belgien gefunden.

A small Flemish bronze pricket candlestick, late 13th century
Bronze with a pronounced, greenish original patina. The slightly domed base plate on three stylised lion's paws. Short shaft with a centre node. The drip pan with a raised edge, central bronze pricket, the tip missing. Height 7.5 cm. According to the consignor, it was found during excavation works in the Belgian city of Ghent.
