Kupfer mit Resten von Feuervergoldung. Leicht gewölbter Standfuß mit konisch zulaufendem Kerzendorn. Der Standfuß mit farbigen Emailleeinlagen in blau, rot, grün und weiß. Stellenweise kleine Fehlstellen in der Emaille. Durchmesser 10 cm, Höhe 14,5 cm.
Ein ähnliches Exemplar abgebildet in Enamels of Limoges 1100-1350, Metropolitan Museum of New York, 1996, S. 380.

A gilt travelling candlestick with champlevé decoration, Limoges, 13th century
Copper with remnants of fire gilding. The slightly domed base with a conical tapering pricket. The base with coloured enamel inlays in blue, red, green and white. Minor defects in the enamel here and there. Diameter 10 cm, height 14.5 cm.
A similar candlestick is illustrated in Enamels of Limoges 1100-1350, Metropolitan Museum of New York, 1996, p. 380.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
