Silver, partly enameled, gold lacquer with very fine carved and engraved inlays of multi-colored mother-of-pearl, coral, Jade, Horn, and coloured leg. Rectangular, bulbous receptacle with recessed corners and on four feet standing. On the

Chrysanthemums, Bush clover (hagi), bell flowers and cherry blossoms. Two small curved
Leaves as the side handles and the lid will serve as a knob in the Form of a
half-open blue peony flower on the top. Vessel and lid are richly decorated
Foliage and flowers. Height 15cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 9cm. In the soil Hiratsuka signed:. Condition A/B. a Few deposits are missing.
