Im originalen braunen Lederetui mit Goldprägung "A. Lange & Söhne - Glashütte in Sachsen" auf dem Deckel. Das maßgefertigte Interieur mit weinrotem Samt und Seide ausgekleidet, im Deckel einliegend die Herstellerbestätigung von Lange & Söhne für das "Ankeruhrwerk No. 87204" sowie der Garantieschein des Berliner Juweliers A. Lünser für eine "goldene Glashütter Lange-Uhr" mit der Nummer "87204", gestempelt, handschriftlich datiert und signiert "Berlin 24.12.35 A. Lünser".
In den Büchern von Lange & Söhne wird für den 16.12.1935 der Verkauf einer "1a, 0,750, Savonette, Ecr." an den Berliner Juwelier Lünser gelistet. Übereinstimmend wird in Hitlers Geschenkliste zu Weihnachten für das Jahr 1935 eine Uhr an seinen Marineadjutanten von Puttkamer aufgeführt.

The 18-carat hunter pocket watch with the factory serial number "87204". Polished surfaces. The gilt 3/4 plate movement ALS-branded in "1a" quality, diameter 43 mm. Set with 20 rubies, balance wheel with steel Bréguet spiral. White enamel dial face with Arabic numerals, gold hands and small seconds hand on the "6". The spring lid engraved on the inside (tr.) "Season's greetings - Adolf Hitler - 24.12.35". All three covers with the mark of fineness "0,750" and number "87204", the cover plate also with the Glashütte manufacturer's mark. The movement engraved "A. Lange & Söhne Dresden" plus the number "87204". Von Puttkamer wore the savonette on an iron watch chain from the family estate, inscribed (tr.) "Gold for weapons, iron for honour 1916". In the original brown leather case, embossed "A. Lange & Söhne - Glashütte in Sachsen" in gold on the lid. The custom-made interior lined in burgundy velvet and silk, the inside of the lid containing the manufacturer's certificate of Lange & Söhne for the "Ankeruhrwerk No. 87204" and the guarantee card of the Berlin jeweller A. Lünser for a "goldene Glashütter Lange-Uhr" with the number "87204", stamped, dated by hand and signed "Berlin 24.12.35 A. Lünser".
The records of Lange & Söhne document the sale of a "1a, 0,750, Savonette, Ecr." to the Berlin jeweller Lünser on 16 December 1935. This is consistent with Hitler's list of Christmas presents for 1935, which includes a watch for his Marineadjutant von Puttkamer.
