Band 1, 1926 und Band 2, 1927. Jeweils in rotem Leder gebunden und mit goldgeprägter Betitelung sowie Zierlinien am Rücken. Oberseitiger Goldschnitt. Band 1 mit der Limitierung auf "500 Exemplare in der vorliegenden Ausstattung als Prachtausgabe" mit gestempelter Nummer "190", Band 2 gestempelt "No. 190". Die Vorsatzblätter jeweils in Tinte signiert "v.Puttkamer/37". Der Einband des 2. Bandes etwas stärker abgegriffen und gedunkelt als der des 1. Bandes. In kartonierter Box mit rotem Leinenrücken.
Der damalige Korvettenkapitän Karl-Jesko von Puttkamer (seit Februar 1936) war vom 1.7.1935 bis 3.7.1938 "Marineadjutant beim Führer und Reichskanzler". Der Überlieferung nach ein Geschenk Hitlers zum zweiten Jahrestag in dieser Dienststellung 1937.

Volume 1, 1926, and volume 2, 1927. Both books bound in red leather and with gold embossed titles and ornamental lines at the spine. Gilt edging at top. Volume 1 with a print run of "500 copies in the present deluxe edition" (tr.) stamped with the number "190", volume 2 stamped "No. 190". The flyleaves signed in ink "v.Puttkamer/37". The cover of the 2nd volume slightly more worn and darkened than the 1st volume. In cardboard box with red linen spine.
Karl-Jesko von Puttkamer, who was a corvette captain at the time (since February 1936), was "Marineadjutant beim Führer und Reichskanzler" between 1 July 1935 and 3 July 1938. Hitler allegedly gave these books as a present for von Puttkamer's second anniversary in this position in 1937.
