Exemplaire très frais, enrichi de 6 dessins originaux de Laboureur, dans une belle reliure florale de Marot-Rodde. L'ouvrage est dédié à Octave Uzanne. Carteret, Illustrés modernes, IV, p. 193 ("édition recherchée et très cotée").

In-8 (260 x 180 mm). 34 gravures en couleurs de Laboureur, dont le titre, et des bandeaux et culs-de-lampe (très légers reports). Tirage unique à 120 exemplaires sur vélin de Rives, celui-ci le n°44, imprimé pour André Givaudan. Exemplaire enrichi de 6 dessins originaux de Laboureur, au crayon, reliés à la suite de la couverture. Il s'agit des croquis originaux des bandeaux des chaptires I, VIII, et XIV, ainsi que des culs-de-lampe des chapitres V, XI et XVIII. Reliure signée de Marot-Rodde, en maroquin vert, filets dorés horizontaux sur les plats et le dos lisse, plat supérieur orné d'un décor floral composé de pièces mosaïquées de maroquin et box crème, saumon, lie-de-vin, pistache et kaki, ainsi que petits poinçons et filets courbes peints de blanc, doublure et gardes de moire vert d'eau, encadrement de maroquin vert avec vilet doré et listel de box gris, couverture et dos conservés, tranches dorées sur témoins, chemise, étui (dos de la chemise passé, étui fendu).

Very fine copy, enriched with 6 original pencil drawings by Laboureur, in a beautiful floral binding by Marot-Rodde.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
