Title: Alfa Romeo Trophäe.
Date: 1964.
Technique: Round steel plate in form of a brake disc with mounted and engraved round brass disc.
Ø 27,5 x 1cm.
Notation: Signed (engraved) in the steel plate. As well as inscription and dated engraved in the copper plate.
Publisher: Alfa Romeo, Milan (publisher).


Condition:
Steel plate probably slightly tarnished. Otherwise very good condition.

The multiple was commishioned in 1964 by Alfa Romeo from Lucio Fontana and 132 copies were produced to be trophies for the best drivers. The present work is the prize for Maria Teresa Meneghelli, one of the few women in racing to date.
