Paul-Hubert Rauh (1913 - 2005): 1935-41 Fluglehrer des österreichischen Bundesheeres, 1941 Umschulung zum Nachtjäger und ab dem 16.01.42 bei der 4./NJG 1, ab 17.07.42 bei der 5./NJG 4, später Staffelkapitän bei der 3./NJG 4. Am 21./22.11.44, nach dem Abschuss zweier britischer Bomber, seinen 23. und 24. Luftsiegen, wurde seine Ju 88 G-1 ebenfalls abgeschossen. Ritterkreuz am 28.04.45 als Hauptmann und Gruppenkommandeur der II./NJG 4. Während 150 Nachtjagdeinsätzen erzielte er 31 Luftsiege und wurde selbst dreimal abgeschossen. 1956 trat er wieder in das Bundesheer ein und wurde 1974 als Oberst verabschiedet. Er verstarb im Alter von 91 Jahren in Pitten, Österreich.

Military Pass (Wehrpass) and Pilots License (Flugzeugführerschein), 23 photos of Rauh (wartime and post-war), a custom bound booklet with color photocopies of all Rauh's original award documents (also dedicated to the collector). Paul-Hubert Rauh (Nov. 15 1913 – Aug. 30 2005) Luftwaffe night fighter ace. Rauh served in the Austrian air force from 1935 – 1941 as a flying instructor. In August 1941 he was trained as a night fighter pilot and on 16 January 1942 he was posted to 4./NJG 1. On the 27/28 April 1942 he took part in his first night mission and took part in a further two before joining 7./NJG 4. On 17 June 1942 he moved to 5./NJG 4 and became Staffelkapitän of 3./NJG 4 on 1 October 1942. As of 25 May 1944 he was promoted to command II./NJG 4. On the 30 December 1943 his Bf 110G-4 was attacked by a P-47 Thunderbolt and crash landed. On 21/22 November 1944 he shot down two bomber aircraft to claim his 23rd and 24th victories, but in the same night his Ju 88G-1 aircraft was shot down. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded on 28 April 1945 as Hauptmann and Gruppenkommandeur of the II./Nachtjagdgeschwader 4. Paul-Hubert Rauh had a total of 150 missions, claimed 31 aerial victories, all of them at night and was shot down three times himself. In 1956 he joined the Bundesheer, retired in 1974 as an Oberst and passed away on 30 August, 2005 in Pitten, Austria, at the age of 91.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
