PORCELAIN ENSEMBLE OF KING AUGUST III OF POLAND ON HORSEBACK.

Date: 20th c.
Maker/Designer: Model F. E. Meyer.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours, golden.
Description: On an oval earth base with applied flowers and a mounting, chestnut-spotted horse. On its
back King August III in uniform and with decorated sash. A tricorn hat on his head and a
scroll in his right hand. A rapier hangs from his hip.
Measurement: Height 29cm.
Mark: Swords mark. Painted blue under glaze. Model number 1796, former's number 98 with year's mark 1971.
