Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 19 mm. Eingesteckter originaler Arsenal-Mündungsschoner. Seitlich rechteckige Pfanne mit schwenkbarem Deckel. Luntenschloss mit Suhler Abnahmemarke (Henne und "SVL"), der Luntenhalter mit einem Stück originalem Luntenstrick. Vollschäftung aus Buchenholz, der Kolben und Schlossbereich teils verwurmt. Auf dem Kolben Brandstempel mit Bindenschild und "IK". Einfache eiserne Garnitur. Originaler hölzerner Ladestock mit eiserner Gewindehülse. Länge 148,5 cm.
Späte Luntenschlossmuskete, wie sie in dieser Art noch in der Türkenschlacht um Wien im Jahr 1683 auf christlicher Seite Verwendung fand.
Provenienz: Ex. Sammlung Trömner, Abensberg. Erworben 1985 aus der Sammlung Nickert, Regensburg. Der Überlieferung nach aus den Beständen des Zeughauses Hemau/Oberpfalz stammend.

A military matchlock rifle, Suhl, circa 1680/90
Octagonal to round barrel with smooth bore, cal. 19 mm. Original armory muzzle cap. Side-mounted rectangular flash pan with hinged cover. The matchlock with the Suhl proof mark (a hen and "SVL"), the clamp with a piece of the original match. The full stock made of beech, worm damage to parts of the butt and the lock section. The coat of arms of the Archduchy of Austria and "IK" branded into the butt stock. Iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with threaded iron sleeve. Length 148.5 cm.
Late matchlock musket of the type in use by the Christian forces during the siege of Vienna by the Ottoman army in 1683.
Provenance: From the Trömner collection, Abensberg. Acquired in 1985 from the Nickert collection, Regensburg. By all accounts, the musket was part of the holdings of the Hemau armoury in the Upper Palatinate.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
