Illustré d'un frontispice gravé, un titre de partie gravé et 103 planches (numérotées 1 à 97, les planches 8, 79 et 80 en 2 parties, la planche 86 en 3 parties) dont une planche dépliante (pl. 12), gravées par Porter, Turel, Roffe, Keux et d'autres d'après Murphy (piqures et rousseurs éparses, affectant certaines planches). Reliure de l'époque : demi-maroquin rouge à coins, dos à nerfs titré or, tranches dorées (reliure frottée, dos passé, coiffes et coins abimés avec manques de cuir, accrocs aux plats avec manques de cuir).
