Large illustrated edition of this work depictin Napoleon's campaigns. The work includes at end: Ceremonies du sacre et du couronnement da sa Majeste Imperiale Napoleon-Le-Grand e Precis historique de la Campagne d'Allemagne. In addition to the 25 plates normally included, there are 5 others not always present which are part of the final sections and are published slightly later, as they include the plate of the meeting of Napoleon and Alexander in Tilsit, an event which occured in July 1807.

Elephant folio (535 x 350mm). Half-title, engraved frontispiece portrait of Napoleon, arms on title, engraved headpieces and medallion portraits at the beginning of Ceremonies du sacre et du couronnement da sa Majeste Imperiale Napoleon-Le-Grand, 25 engraved plates including a double-page map of Italy and 5 others plates not always present: a double page view of the "Bataille d'Austerlitz" and the plates with "Bataille d'Jena", "Bataille de Preussich-Eylau", "Battaile de Friedland" and "Entrevue des deux Empereurs" (foxing and occasional browning). Contemporary half red morocco with spine decorated in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed).
