Dreiteilige Oboe aus Grenadill mit Neusilber-Klappen und Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Das Holzblasinstrument ist am Becher gepunzt mit „Maino e Orsi, Milano“. Die Blasinstrumentenfabrik Orsi entstand aus der Zusammenarbeit von Prof. Romeo Orsi (Lehrer für Klarinette am Mailänder Konservatorium) und Paolo Maino, einem bekannten, seit 1836 agierenden Hersteller von Holzblasinstrumenten. Die Firma „Maino & Orsi“ ist seit den 1880er Jahren nachweisbar.

Three-piece Grenadilla oboe with nickel silver keys and signs of age and use. The woodwind instrument is stamped "Maino e Orsi, Milano" in the foot. The Orsi wind instrument factory was founded as a result of the collaboration between Prof. Romeo Orsi (clarinet teacher at the Milan Conservatory) and Paolo Maino, a well-known manufacturer of woodwind instruments who had been in business since 1836. The company "Maino & Orsi" can be traced back to the 1880s.
