Uzbekistan, Late 19th Century. Century222 x 145 cmFine needle embroidery in silk from four lanes put together. The Central floral motif is in the core of a round, rotgrundigen Element, symbolically often as the "moon disk" or "Oi-disc-designated", with polychrome contour line and by a wreath of 16 leaves, lined. The blade tips are connected by segmental arches with each other and in the interstices of the corresponding blade or disk segments filled. The rest of the field and the main border are dominated by densely arranged rotgrundigen disc motifs and delicate floral motifs. Harmonious Color.provenance: private possession, North Germany. - Cf.
