Cal. 7,65mmLuger, SN. 6811, matching numbers, incl. grips. Barrel length 120 mm, the bore slightly matte. Eight shots. No proof marks, no marking "Germany". Original V-notch rear sights. Original flat extractor. Hold-open latch. Grip safety. The chamber area with American Eagle, the toggle link with DWM logo. Original finish >97%, with signs of wear on the barrel, the side plate and high edges, some thinning on the grip straps. Small parts strawed. Dark walnut grips. A polished magazine with unmarked wooden base. See Kenyon, "Lugers at Random", pages 56/57, who points out that guns for the US Army trials were drawn from regular production in the serial number range from 6100 to 7100.
