A dramatic play set during the Milanese plague of 1630. The story is organized around three emblematic characters: Casimiro, a young foreigner mistaken for an infector, Quirina, a rich heiress who die of the plague and Ginepra, a rich courtesan whosurvive the disease only to find herself left without a single customer.

8vo (140 x 80mm). Woodcut title (dampstaining more visible in the first part of the volume, some spotting). Contemporary boards preserved within modern boards.
