PIETER VAN BLOEMEN, STUDY OF A SADDLED HORSE, BRUSH, GREY WASH

Pieter van Bloemen specialised in depicting horses in landscapes, and several drawings of horses are listed in hisoeuvre, all done in brush and wash (F. Lugt, Musée du Louvre. Inventaire général des dessins des écoles du Nord. Ecole flamande, Paris, 1949, no. 12, ill.). All these studies probably date from the artist's Italian period, between 1675 and 1683. Here, Van Bloemen pays attention to the smallest details, observing how the saddle is affixed.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
