Urging his correspondent to sign a literary contract: "But why not sign the contract? I has stood the best of years. Everybody signs it; and nothing ever happens afterwards except that I get my royalties & the play goes on just as if the manager had it unconditionally for ever." – WORDSWORTH, William (1770-1850). Autograph letter signed, n.d. 2 pages, octavo. Regarding the copyright of a poem – SCOTT, Walter (1771-1832). Autograph letter signed, Edinburgh, 15 December n.y. 1 page, quarto. Thanking his correspondent "potent talismans." All three letters individually matted and framed with portraits and in overall fine condition.
