Rechteckige Bildplatte mit mythologischer Darstellung der Entführung von Hilaeira und Phoibe, den Töchtern des Königs Leukippos von Argos durch die Dioskuren Castor und Pollux. Der sterbliche Castor, der Rossbändiger, sitzt auf einem Pferd, eine der Leukippiden von seinem unsterblichen Bruder Pollux, dem Boxkämpfer, in Empfang nehmend. Nach dem 1618 entstandenen Gemälde von Peter Paul Rubens, heute in der Alten Pinakothek in München. Feine, polychrome Malerei. Eingepresste Zepter- und KPM-Marke. Stuckierter und vergoldeter Holzrahmen mit reliefiertem Rankendekor (minim. besch.). Platte 23,5 cm x 18,5 cm. Rahmen 26,5 cm x 23,5 cm.
