Öl auf achteckigem Malkarton und Sperrholz. Dicker pastöser Farbauftrag, linksseitig Ritzsignatur "Müller Wischin". Brustportrait des sitzenden jungen Leutnants in Uniform mit Mantel, seinen Säbel in Händen haltend. Bildmaße 31 x 27 cm. In neuerem, vergoldetem Rahmen. Maße 34 x 30 cm.
Anton Müller-Wischin, zunächst Dorflehrer in Bayern, wurde erst mit 35 Jahren durch Franz von Lenbach ermuntert, Kunstmaler zu werden, besuchte die Schule von Heinrich Knirr und nahm an Ausstellungen der Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft teil. 1925 wurde er ehrenhalber zum Professor ernannt und von 1937 bis 1944 war er mit 49 Werken auf der Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellung in München vertreten, von denen alleine Hitler 17 Stück erwarb. Obwohl kein Mitglied der NSDAP, erhielt er 1942 die Goethe-Medaille für Kunst und Wissenschaft und wurde 1944 auf die "Gottbegnadeten-Liste" gesetzt.
Schönes Frühwerk Müller-Wischins, der ab 1920 überwiegend bayer. Landschaften und Blumenstillleben malte - Motive, die er auch auf der GDK zeigte, wo er der am vierthäufigsten vertretene Künstler war!

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
