A very rare and fresh iron meteorite with blue-black fusion crust on the reverse, the face cut and etched to reveal the internal crystalline structure. With museum label.
Two specimens, totaling 15.65 kg, were found in 1975 about 85 km from Durango, Mexico.
All material was sold to the Center for Meteorite Studies at ASU in Tempe. Very little has ever left their collection. Acquired by Michael Farmer in an exchange.
