Silver. Wooden handle. On three ball feet once fed body with strong tongue relief. The upper edge of the
in tendrils broken. On the ground, underside engraved Alliance de Stael coat of arms
Sutthausen, Rheine, and Wulften, and of Ketteler to hard figurines. Approx. 690g. Height 12.5 cm, length 30.5 cm.

BZ Augsburg, 1685-1687 (Seling no. 880), MZ Johann Wagner (1677-1724, ibid. No. 1750). Engraved coat of arms with a Royal crown, as well as number 166. Condition A/B.
Provenance:
The Alliance coat-of-arms refers to the 1714 marriage of Matthias Ernst Wilhelm Baron de Stael to figurines Sutthausen, Rheine, and Wulften and Anna Theodora Barbara von Ketteler too Hard. In further succession, the chafing dish came about Clementine Auguste Maria Baroness of Stael to Sutthausen,Rheine, and Wulften, to the Prince, by whose marriage with Franz Egon Ludwig Freiherr mountain cooker rings in the 19th century.
