Plantarum historia succulentarum. Histoire des plantes grasses… Paris : Dugour et Durand, an VII [1799 -1805].
Sitwell, p. 85 ; Nissen, N° 321 ; Stafleu, n° 983 ("There are hardly any identical copies. Very often plates are lacking, but the variety of indexes, title-pages and wrappers is such that a huge number of 'variants' exist.") ; Hunt, p. 42 ("this work is significant as the first to be wholly illustrated by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, and the only one for which he himself made all of the engravings").
2 vol. in-folio (533 x 340 mm).
