Imposantes Basaltrelief mit der frontal dem Betrachter zugewandten Figur der Göttin Kali, den Büffeldämon tötend. Die vielarmige Gottheit ist reich geschmückt und trägt in ihren Händen diverse Attribute. Vulkangestein, Zentral-Java, 13./14. Jahrhundert Ausbruch an der Basis, linker Rand leicht bestoßen. Sonst intakt. Maße 64 x 31 x 18 cm.

A Kali relief from Java, 13th/14th century
An impressive basalt relief with the figure of the goddess Kali facing the viewer, killing the buffalo demon. The many-armed deity is richly decorated and carries various attributes in her hands. Volcanic stone, Central Java, 13th/14th century. Breakout at the base, left rim slightly bumped. Otherwise intact. Dimensions 64 x 31 x 18 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
