First edition of this attractive book. Ridinger's fine plates depict animals of the chase: wolf, tiger, bears, deer, beaver, otter, hare, among others. The spoor of each animal is depicted in the lower part of each plate, making the album "an instructive one" (Schwerdt); the final three plates illustrate spoor only.
