Schlanke zweischneidige Stichklinge mit abgeflachtem Mittelgrat. In der oberen Hälfte beidseitig schmale Kehlung mit in Kupfer eingelegtem Balkenkreuz zwischen "S" und "D". Gerade eiserne Parierstange, die sechskantigen Arme nach außen konisch verbreitert. Originale Hilze mit schwarzem Lederbezug über Schnurwicklung (berieben, unvollständig). Leicht ovaler Scheibenknauf mit geschrägten Kanten und zweifach gestuftem eisernen Vernietknauf. Länge 120 cm.
Seltenes frühes Schwert, in dieser Erhaltung nur selten zu finden.

A German medieval hand-and-a-half sword, circa 1450
The narrow, double-edged thrusting blade of flattened hexagonal section. Shallow fullers on both sides of the upper half with a straight-armed cross inlaid in copper between an "S" and a "D". Straight iron quillons, the hexagonal arms widening conically outwards. The original grip with cord winding covered in black leather (rubbed, incomplete). The slightly oval disc pommel with bevelled edges and a double-stepped, riveted iron button. Length 120 cm.
Rare, early sword. This condition is seldom available on the market.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
