About Rosemarie Trockel:
Rosemarie Trockel lives near Berlin. From 1974 to 1978, she studied painting under Werner Schriefers at the Kölner Werkschulen (Faculty of Art and Design at Cologne University of Applied Sciences). From 1998 to 2016, Rosemarie Trockel was a professor at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. In 2012, she was appointed a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. Trockel has been a founding member of the Academy of the Arts of the World in Cologne since October 2012. She became a member of the Academy of Arts Berlin, Visual Arts Section, in 1995. In 2021 Trockel was elected into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The lots of the charity auction will be handed over to the buyers during a festive evening on Saturday, August 24, 2024 on the stage of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, partly by the artists themselves.
If you are unable to attend the personal handover of your auctioned artwork in the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf on August 24, 2024 from 6:00 p.m., collection is planned from August 26, 2024.
