Oak. Wrought iron mounts, hammered, with remnants of paint. Restored, additions, signs of age, damaged. Right side part probably later. 128 x 213 x 50 cm.

additional: later profile base.

Scroll in relief (Gothic minuscule): "anno/dno/m°/cccc°/lvii°/ortolf/dichmacher/ha(t)/ge"(stiftet?). Remnants of ornamental stencil painting verso. Incised inscription "K4E" on the plate.

Provenance: "From Laubenberg Castle near Röthesbach (near Lindau), which belongs to the Pappus family" - Figdor Collection, Vienna (number 157) since 1882 - Auction "Sammlung Dr. Albert Figdor Wien" (11-13 June 1930, Vienna), lot 517 - there bought back via a third party commissioned by the heiress, owned by the family since then.
