Weichholz, geschnitzt. Auf vier Tatzenfüßen rechteckige Plinthe rundum mit feiner Intarsienarbeit verziert. Darüber Aufbau in Form eines Kreuzganges mit Arkaden mit feinem Maßwerk im gotischen Stil. Die Schauseite mit Schlüsselloch. Scharniergelagerter Deckel in Form eines Dachsimses, sehr aufwendig intarsiert in verschiedenen geometrischen Mustern. Auf der Oberseite des Deckels intarsierte Darstellung eines bekrönten Löwen. Im Inneren ebenfalls intarsierte Holzfläche. Mittig schmale, tiefe Öffnung. Öffnung und Deckelinnenseite mit Samteinlage in Königsblau mit Goldakzenten. Schlüssel vorhanden. Maße 28 x 36 x 30,5 cm.

Softwood, carved. Rectangular base resting on four paw feet and surrounded by a finely inlaid frieze. Surmounted by a construction in the form of a cloister with arcades adorned with fine gothic-style tracery. Keyhole on the obverse. Hinged lid in the form of a ledge, very elaborately inlaid with different geometrical patterns. The top of the lid inlaid with a crowned griffin. The wooden surface on the inside also decorated with an inlaid frieze. A narrow, deep opening at centre. The opening and inside of the lid with royal blue velvet lining and gilt accents. With key. Dimensions 28 x 36 x 30.5 cm.
