Seltene Serie von 10 Barock-Gemälden mit weiblichen Allegorien
Halbfigurige Bildnisse junger vornehmer, höfischer, adeliger, prachtvoll gewandeter und geschmückter Damen in sitzender Pose vor unterschiedlichem Hintergrund. Durch die Attribute und die thematischen Zusammenhänge sind einige der Gemälde als eindeutige Personifikationen bzw. Allegorien erkennbar: eine Dame mit Taubenpaar, Blumenpaar, Pfeil und Maibaum steht für den Liebesmonat Mai; eine weitere Dame mit Maske, Weinglas und Hähnchen vor Winterlandschaft stellt offensichtlich den Karnevalsmonat Februar dar; bei einer anderen Dame mit Pfau, Spiegel und kostbarem Schmuck handelt es sich um eine Allegorie der "Eitelkeit". Die anderen Gemälde zeigen Damen mit diversen Attributen u. a. mit Löwe und Beil, Laute und Hirsch, Weintrauben und Bacchus, Schwein, Früchten und Weinglas sowie einem Lamm. Provenienz: Ehemals im historischen Landsitz Trüeterhof am Fusse des Buechbergs, Gemeinde Thal, Kanton St. Gallen/Schweiz (erbaut 1573), über verschiedene Besitzer (seit 1709 Damenstift Lindau; seit 1803 Josef Anton Lutz) seit 1936 in der Sammlung des vormaligen Trüeterhof-Besitzers Gebhard Lutz Geiger und dessen Erben; 1976/77 in der Sammlung Ulf G. Weissenberger, St. Margrethen/Schweiz; von Letzterem erworben und danach in südwestdeutscher Sammlung.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
