Seltener Tabaktopf mit Chinoiserien von Du Paquier Rechteckiger, in den Ecken eingezogener Korpus. Schauseitig beider Wandungen ein Chinese in blühender Gartenlandschaft vor einer Pagode mit Lochfelsen. Die Schmalseiten mit Indianischen Blütenstauden vor einem Zaun. In den Ecken einzelne Ornamente. Der Innenrand mit Zickzackbordüre. Feine polychrome Malerei mit dezenter Goldstaffage. Rest.; Slg.-Etikett. H. 11 cm.
Weitere Beispiele mit architektonisch geprägten Chinoiseriedekoren, die sich wohl an europäischen Stichvorlagen orientieren und an die Chinoiserien des J.G. Hoeroldt in Meissen erinnern, finden sich auf einem Humpen im Kunstgewerbemuseum in Prag (UPM; Inv.-Nr. c.78.700) sowie auf einer bedeutenden Kanne im MAK in Wien (Inv.-Nr. Ke 4635). Formbeispiele sind in verschiedenen Sammlungen vertreten, so z.B. bei einem Tabakstopf mit Medaillons aus der Slg. Sullivan, West Hartford.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
