Eine Gahr-Silberbrosche mit vier kreisförmig angeordneten, stark reliefierten Pferdeköpfen nach germanischem Muster, rückseitig SS-Runen in achteckigem Schild, Feingehalt "800", Trageöse und Querbroschierung. Durchmesser 50 mm, Gewicht 18 g.
Die von Gahr gefertigten Broschen sollten auf Himmlers Wunsch von SS-Männern ihren Frauen geschenkt werden, gewissermaßen als Gegenstück zum Totenkopfring des SS-Mannes. Vgl. A. Meyer/H. W. A silver horse-head brooch made by the jewellers Otto and Karolina Gahr of Munich
A silver Gahr brooch with four horse's heads of Germanic pattern in high relief, arranged in a circle, SS runes in an octagonal shield on the back, fineness "800", suspension loop and vertical pin. Diameter 50 mm, weight 18 g.
The brooches were commissioned from the Gahrs at Himmler's behest and were to be presented to the wives of SS men, as a sort of counterpart to the SS officers' skull ring. One such brooch can be found in the collection of the Wewelsburg District Museum.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
